Consumer facing web apps have some of the hardest problems to solve on the frontend. Users using productivity apps have a very low tolerance for jitters and lag.

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer who is product-minded, excels at their craft and super passionate about building performant frontend infrastructure and delightful user experiences. You'll be working directly with the founders 👋🏼 to build out an early version of Zivy and take it to public launch and beyond.

As the founding frontend engineer, you would be the primary owner for all Frontend.

What you'll be doing

• Own the Frontend Infrastructure end to end.
• Work closely with Backend, Design and Product to hash out the apps across platforms.
• Collaborate with the designers to create scalable UI & UX libraries.
• Take the products from 0 to 1. Post that, setup and scale the architecture to power a large volume of requests and data.
• Make the applications buttery smooth without any lags and jitters.
• Because we're an early stage startup, you'll have tons of opportunities to be involved in all aspects of the product development process, from ideation to launch.

What we're looking for ideally

• 4+ years of solid experience building and shipping production level web applications.
• Fluency with React, Next.js, Tailwind, Redux, etc. Master at HTML + CSS.
• Experience building highly interactive and responsive web applications.
• Attention to design and detail. You should be able to critique and modify existing designs.
• Deep understanding of UI and UX.
• While you might focus on frontend development, you are also comfortable working across the stack if needed.
• Focus on performance with the ability to profile and identify bottlenecks.
